Burnett Law focuses on the family. We are located in Dalton, Georgia and serve clients in Whitfield and Murray Counties. Our mission is to provide outstanding service using knowledge, experience and creativity to educate and empower our clients and partner with them to solve their legal problems. Nancy A. Burnett graduated from Dalton High School in 1981. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration (concentration in Finance) from Georgia State University in 1986. She graduated Albany Law School and received a Juris Doctor in 1989. She has been an attorney since 1990. She has practiced law in New York and Tennessee and now practices law in Georgia. Raised in Dalton, Georgia, Ms. Burnett is familiar with the area and its people.

From the beginning of the unpleasant experience of divorce, Nancy put my mind at ease from the beginning . Just talking with her from initial consultation gave me peace of mind , and confidence in her knowledge and abilities . During the first hearing , I really got a chance to see her knowledge and experience in action. How she handled the witnesses , and how she handled the opposing attorney , gave me great confidence, watching her in action . Nancy and her staff Christy have been nothing but awesome. From helping us get custody of my little cousin to the adoption of my daughter. If I had a question she was quick to help me get the answer. Nancy and Christy go above and far beyond!
If you’re looking for a lawyer that truly cares about you and your child, stop, do not pass go, do not collect $200 (give it to them instead, and contact this office.
Nancy went out of her way multiple times and was a true blessing. Christy was on top of all paperwork and handled every issue as it came with ease and confidence. Coming from a different state to get resolution on a case that made no sense was scary and costly, on top of the other side using some not so nice methods, I was overwhelmed and underprepared. Nancy made sure we agreed on a great price and for the service you get I would pay thousands if I had it.Jose Tirado

Nancy Burnett and her assistant Christy have been awesome. If I have a question they answer it pretty quickly. She has helped me get custody of my little cousin and also helped with the adoption of my daughter. She comes to you if you can come to her.
