    - Jan 13 2024 After a couple of delays beyond anyones control, (weather as this was an outdoor intallation), the countertop was installed on my grill island. The two installers, Sylvester and Anistasio did a great job and made sure everything was correct. They worked on the install for almost 90min. The slab which was called Arctic Ice was beautiful. Thanks goes to the sales rep Scott Gragilla for helping to pick out this slab. David who did the template meauring was thorough and knowledgeable. Learned a bit from him and I was able to get the 1ft overhang I wanted. The fabrication shop did a great job as because of a couple of special bumpouts and a burner insert that required an exact opening, this fabrication was tricky. The scheduler I spoke with, David, was always very friendly and informative. He helped with picking a date where the weather was scheduled to be ok. The only glitch was with the Service Agreement. Since the countertop was to be installed outdoors I figured that this would be a good thing to get. One problem was that the agreement which was with Guardian (they make great care products) didn't cover outdoor installation. I guess nobody but me reads the complete service agreement. Anyway this got taken care of and my payment is being refunded. All in all it was a good experience and I'm really happy with the finished product.

The gentleman who measured for the template was prompt and courteous, he even carried the microwave in from our car. The installers were friendly, on time and did a nice job. We are happy so far and would recommend Colonial as an option for a new counter top..
