My wife, Janette, and I can't say enough about our house-selling experience under the guidance of Phil Herman! We met Phil at an open house over a year ago and were impressed from Day 1 just from our interactions with him then ... and knew that we'd reach out to him when we were ready to sell our home. We let him know of our future plans, and he immediately reached out to us with an informative packet about himself, his credentials, and let us know he's ready to serve us when the time comes. Fast forward to Jan 2026. We contacted Phil to let him know we're ready to move forward with our plans to sell our house. We set up a meeting at our house on Feb 3, 2026, whereby Phil went into great detail to explain the process and answer all our questions. We thought we'd be spending about an hour with him, but he gave us his undivided attention for closer to three hours! And within 24 hours, we had a "For Sale" sign in the front of our house on Feb 4, 2026. Following an open house and two showings, Phil received a generous offer a mere 10 days later on Feb 14, 2026, which we accepted!
As a US Air Force (retired) family, Uncle Sam has moved us every few years, so this was new territory for us to move ourselves. Phil put our minds at ease from start to finish, and we know we made the right decision to have Phil in our corner with his years of experience in the real estate world! Selling our home was the biggest financial endeavor we've embarked upon, and we couldn't be happier with the results Phil helped us achieve! My wife and I recently moved back to Ohio from Arizona. We had discussed purchasing a home at some point and knew exactly who we would call. Phil Herman/Remax. Phil had helped us sell a home and a condo prior. When the time came, there was no question who would work for US!!
Both my wife and I work very demanding jobs and our time is limited. Phil knew that and was very understanding. At our first meeting we knew we made the ONLY choice. Phil took notes, understood our budget and what we were looking for. He added us to a list that would advise us of condo sales. Phil made himself available each time we called saying "hey, we want to check this out". Even if after looking we were not satisfied, Phil would comment "no worries, we will find you your forever home". How is that for service? 4 times losing out and, on the 5th, we found it!!!
Phil, your professionalism, kindness and attention to what mattered to us made our experience one of a kind!! THIS is why we returned to you!! If we could give a higher rating than 5 we would.
We cannot recommend him enough. If you are looking or just thinking about looking....CALL....YOU will NOT be disappointed.
